I had my first pet reptile when I was 5 years old, and I have loved them ever since. I have always had a unique understanding of the alternative pets that many people feared. While going to school and training to be a veterinarian, I became discouraged as I watched animals receive unnecessary medical treatment, invasive procedures, toxic medications, and more; All to increase profits. That is why I decided to open up a nonprofit organization that helps the animals that have less rescue options. We do not receive any funding for what we do. We stay focused on the animals we serve and the lives we are saving. What started as a small local operation has turned into the largest, and only certified, reptile rescue in Northern California.
We are funded by donations from our community. We depend on these donations to continue our mission.
